Calendula officinalis has been used for centuries to treat burns, cuts, scrapes, rashes, and other minor skin irritations.
Why organic? Instead of using extracts that contain hidden chemicals, we infuse thousands of actual calendula petals directly into our oils. This not only keeps Satya gentle and free of additives, but it directly supports organic farmers and the bees that pollinate our food supply.
Sweet almond oil is an antibacterial oil high in vitamin E, A, and zinc. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory that helps our skin retain its natural moisture, softening the texture while treating sun damage, scars, rosacea and signs of aging.
Why organic? Oils made with non-organic almonds are often sprayed with a chemical called PPO (propylene oxide). To avoid this, our cold-pressed sweet almond oil is only made from steam pasteurized almonds - no pesticides, engine fuel, or GMOs.
Organic Beeswax Beeswax moisturizes the skin while boasting anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral benefits. Its water-repelling texture helps to lock in our skin’s moisture and reduce dryness. Most importantly, it’s suitable for allergy-prone skin!
Why organic? Harvesting wax is a sustainable and bee-friendly process. We use organic beeswax to ensure that our bees have not been exposed to flowers that have been sprayed with chemicals or pesticides.
Cold-pressed jojoba is light and closely resembles our skin's natural oils so it absorbs quickly while retaining moisture. It works well with sensitive, allergy-prone skin while being antioxidant-rich, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal.
Why organic? We specifically use organic jojoba in our formula to avoid the use of pesticides or chemicals on the jojoba plants we harvest from.
