I didn't know how helpful these would be when my mom bought them for me after my daughter was born, but was pleasantly surprised to find that I used them constantly! Even sometimes at night, they're really comfortable and keep things dry. Now they probably would be best to use after the first month when your milk supply has evened out a bit but they're very worth buying. I like them much better than disposable pads!
